Greece finally scraps the last of its A-7s.
Rough looking but still serviceable! I always had a soft spot for the A-7. It was an unglamorous workhorse that served effectively not only for the USN and USAF, but for our Greek, Thai, and Portuguese allies as well. link |

Sorry to see them go. Man, that painter did a superb weathering job on that jet. One of the best I have seen, with regard to realistic panel line detailing. ;-) |

I wonder if he used the hairspray chipping effect… The panel line is probably a mixed wash of pirate black and dark gnome brown. |
