Greetings TMP.

I'd like to introduce you all to a new winter gaming convention in northeast Wisconsin. TundraCon will be held on January 10, 2015 in Appleton, Wisconsin. It is the creation of a group of five old time gamers in the Fox Valley area of Wisconsin. We plan to feature several very nice looking games and hope to get other like minded individuals to join us in running some games of their own.

For information please visit tundracon.blogspot.com

Sounds like a great idea and a fun day. I know I'll be there.

If you send details to steve at the HMGS-Midwest website, he wil post them on the website. Not sure when the next news letter is due, but could be added there as well.

Sounds like a great way to spend a winters day. Do you have a group that games. I'm interested

Well done, those men!

As a former Cheesehead who grew up attending Gen Cons (beginning with the Horticultural Hall in Lake Geneva), it's good to see a convention rise in Wisconsin again. Just based on the contacts I still have there, and others I'm aware of, I would think that there would be more than enough support for it.

This is not to slight the recent run of Navcons, by the way, but that's a specialized event for naval gaming. I'm referring to something with a broader appeal.

Best,
Ed M

Will you be posting when the games will be starting?

Yes. We are finalizing the list of games and times now. I should have an update this week.
