I have a decent selection of the Blue Moon Manufacturing World War One Americans, but recently I came across some information about the American 332nd Regiment which was sent to Italy and fought against the Austrians. So, I am looking for some 15/18mm late war Austrians (helmet) to use against my Yanks. I am aware of MiniFigs, but I think they will be too small in comparison to Blue Moon. Any other suggestions? |

Hm, the Peter Pig ones are only in hats. In 15mm couldn't you get away with using Germans or would that be too distracting? |

Get the Eureka Austrians. Then buy the ppl heads with Stable helmet and add those to the Eureka figs. |

I game the Italians against the Austrians in WW1 and I use Blue Moon figs. The French BM figs are painted as Italians, they used the same Adrien helmet afterall. And the Germans substitute for Austrians. Again the helmet is pretty much the same. I have the Osprey books on both the Italians and AH forces in WW1 and painted in the right uniform colors, they look like Italians/Austrians. |

As much as I like the idea of using Eureka figures, I cannot see me taking the time to do head swaps. Sounds too labor intensive. I might just have to settle with late war Germans. Thanks, all! |

Fair enough Buckeye, but just to let you know I did it with Blue Moon Brit Infantry and PP heads with Tam O'Shanter and now I have a great looking brigade of Scots with Tams :D But I certainly understand what you mean :) Cheers |

Peter Pig heads on Blue Moon figures!? I demand photographic proof! Especially since Peter Pig are drastically smaller than Blue Moon in most ranges I have both for. |
