New Defensive positions set 1 – 20mm and 25mm scale.
Defensive positions set 1. This includes 1 x mortar/machine gun position, 2 x anti-tank gun positions and 3 x infantry/support weapon team sangers. Made from .75 and .5 thick Vacuum formed High impact polystyrene plastic from designs by EWM, here in Hertfordshire, England.
Each sheet contains 6 model defensive positions that require simple cutting out, optional mounting and then painting. Each Set comes with full instructions.
As Richard said in his blog about these models "Well, what can I say. Some thing shouldn't work. But they do. These bits were designed for both 20mm and 25(8)mm gamers, something which, if you'd told me rather than showing me the goods, I'd have been dubious of. But immediately I could see what these smashing vacuum formed bits would be good for".
If you are a Chain of Command player as I am, Richards view is "As can be seen, these are rather swish additions to my collection. Chain of Command allows an option of selecting team sized positions for your troops, and this pack looks like it is going to be PERFECT!".
These are available now so pre-order to guarantee you get some for Crisis.

This is what you get in a set.
These were painted by Richard Clark of two fat Lardies fame and can be seen in action at the Crisis show this weekend in his Chain of Command games.
Priced at £13.50 GBP for the .75 and £12.50 GBP for the .50 thickness sets.

hi JJ,
Thanks for your post. They are both very detailed but the thinner ones really do need mounting on either card, artists board or thin MDF. The thicker ones it's optional. This really helps prolong the life of the models and I have models made from vac formed plastic mounted on card that are over 30 years old.
So, if you don't plan on mounting them, go for the thicker ones. The painted examples are the thicker ones. If you want to glue or mount them on card etc, go for the cheaper, slightly more detailed ones.
I hope that helps you?
They do ofer certain advantages over resin. They won't smash into a 1000 bits if you drop them, they are light weight so easy and cheaper to post, the paint really well, ink wash and dry brush are best and they offer extremely good value for money.
Cheers
