Those Norwegians look medievaly mean :) nice one gunfreak. I notice they're all based separately, what rulers are you using?
Cheers happy gaming

Actually they are based 2 and 1, I'm gonna use hail caesar.
I just had a spure of plastic bases. Just enough for 12 men and horses. So 8 will be 2 and 2, 4 will be singles. My preferd basing of cav is 3 and 3

Squeeze the legs in closer, they're riding like beginners….

I tried to squeeze the legs Ace, but did not work, they are way to hard. Won't budge.

Anyway the next 3 are done.

Its a fairly basic, but not absolute rule of heraldry that you put colours only on metals and metals only on colours. So if the field is red, black green or blue the device will be silver (white) or gold (yellow) . . If the field is red green blue, black then the device is gold or silver (yellow or white)
Unless your Knight with the red field is an actual coat of arms then his diamonds would be silver or gold.

I recall that Alan Nickels wrote some very good articles on basic heraldry for early Slingshots which can still be accessed on the back copues disk available on the SoA's web site .

As to squeezing the legs, try dropping one in really hot water then putting it on the horse whilst still hot and bending the legs carefully in. Hold until cool and they should set.

Plastic? That changes everything. I use a candle when I want to alter a plastic figure's pose. My first try would be to squeeze inward on the legs while passing it above the candle. I think the moment of movement/softening would be quite evident….
