I'm looking for WWI U-boat uniform pics. Does anyone know if any of the colour plates in this book show crew from a Great War boat?

If it doesn't I don't really to shell out for it. Not when I could be spending the money on toy plastic dinosaurs from the Early Learning Centre. And you can get a LOT of plastic dinosaurs for the price of an Osprey.

Thank you.

"Don't really WANT to shell out for it", I meant.

Sorry.

Hi Polynikes

I have the book (I paid £5.00 GBP for it)

It has 1 plate with 3 piccies of GREAT WAR CREW.

A Bosuns mate, A Leutnant zur see and a Chief petty officer.

The other colour plates are taken up with WW2 crew.

There are a couple of B&W photos for WWI majority is WW2. There is a description of the WWI submarine service.

The book does give descriptions of insignia worn and type of clothing for WW1 and WW2....Its mainly concentrated on WW2.

I was happy to buy it for £5.00 GBP (from a bookshop in the Lake district). I don't think it's worth full price.....

Hope this helps

Cheers, mate.

Hmmmm. I'll have to think about that. Shall I or shan't I?
