One for the Bronze-age crowd. Which army list would you suggest for the city state of Wilusa/Illium for the period 1600-1300 BC ? This is Troy before the Trojan war, but no list I can find even mentions what must have been an important city. Myceanean ? Old/Middle Hittite ? and what figures ? All suggestions gratefully received. Apologies if you see this question more than once, I'm asking around. |

Trojan Horse: a unit of elite cavalry King's Bodyguard: mercenary, sword-armed & armoured (leather or scale cuirasses & bronze helms) exceptional infantry Heavy Chariots: a la Hittite with crews of 3 Heavy Spears: long spears carried by unarmoured troops with large body shields in a phalanx formation Skirmishers: units of javelin men, archers & slingers. |
