I found a few usable figures in the Safari Toobs but would like to find more, preferably with better sculpting. Can be Eastern or Plains tribes. |

BMC did a Little Bighorn set that had civilian figures in it as I recall. BMC tends to be toy soldiery but inexpensive. |

Are the Imrie figures pretty nice? I have never bought any. |

Nick, Ron Barzso did an Indian camp set years ago. The figures are hard to find now, but are out there. Also, look at Pegasus Hobbies. They did some non-combatant Plains Indians ("missionary indians") a few years back as well. |

The Indian Camp figures by Barzso were just what you need, Nick. I would call Ron and see if he has a set hidden away somewhere. The Marx 60 mm indians had a series of figures called the "camp" figures. A couple of female figures and a few guys sitting around a campfire smoking whatever they smoked back then. link They may fit and they are really not that much bigger than the 54 mm stuff. |
