The action that accounted for the 12 captured Shermans occured during the closing days of Nordwind. I believe the village name was Hermlschimt (or some such). Most of a combat command was trapped and wiped out. Rapid Fire has a scenrio book that includes this battle. Also WWII magazine had an good article on the battle several years back. TomT |
