Hi! Test-playing the new sci-fi rules has rekindled my motivation to finish some of the 15mm sci-fi stuff that is lying around… I've done some scratch building and I've also finally painted up the lovely tank I got from the Darkest Star Kickstarter. For images, visit link Cheers, Shandy |

Dig! Very glad you had a pleasant experience with our KS, and very happy that you've painted the beastie up! Looking forwards to seeing how you paint up that tuperware building, that'll be interesting! |

Cheers! In hindsight, I should have made more rows of windows in the tupperware thingy and another entrance area… but I was out of windows and wanted to have a correct scale. Looks a bit homely now, but then, our background is neither grim nor dark, so that's ok :-) P.S.: And assembling & painting the tank was a pleasure, great model (and that from someone who hates resin)! |

Very cool, especially that tupperware! Hey, if you want some tables and chairs, drop me a line and I'll whip up some that you can buy through Shapeways. I already have a chair design; it wouldn't be hard to make tables to go with. Heck, I could even make a patio umbrella for that whole "bistro" feel. Here's an example of a chair I made a while back: shpws.me/ouRQ javelin98 AT lycos DOT com Thanks, jav98 |

Thanks for the kind feedback everybody. Unfortunately, from now on I will no longer post about my projects on TMP. Reason is that I don't want to be a figurehead for the political beliefs of the owner of this side and I don't want to have anything to do with a forum that supports holocaust denial (see the sad discussion on the other thread) . If you are interested in what I am up to (my rules will be up for downloading pretty soon) please follow my blog or visit this place invalid link where I will post regularly about my stuff. Thanks for all the support, it really means a lot to me and it saddens me that this is no longer a place where one can safely discuss the hobby. P.S.: I will leave the 'invalid link' as a testimony to what the editor means by 'free speech'. Frankly, he disgusts me. |
