While powerful, I doubt it could have won a duel with a WWII modern battleship. The battleship could stay beyond the range of the fort guns and just pound away. |

Wasn't intended to deal with WWII ships. Its design was intended to deal with pre-WWI ships. That's akin to comparing a Pz IV to a M1A2… |
