Just one week to go, and on Lard Island we're working hard on preparation for our annual pilgrimage to Crisis in Antwerp; simply the best wargames show on the planet.

This year we'll be running Chain of Command in the big battle variant, so we're busy working on our forces and terrain for that.

With our Corgi Shermans complete (well, almost…) we're now looking at some opposition. Corgi never made Panzer IVs in their 1:50 scale range, but fortunately Soldio, diecast manufacturer from France, filled the gap. Unfortunately their models lacked the late war look we craved, so out came the plasticard and glue.

You can read part one of our Crisis journey here, as we pimp our panzers:

We hope to see plenty of our European Lardy cohort next weekend!

I'll be there but I must avoid that Clarkie chap from the Lardies. He'll probably drag me into a pub and force me to drink 'cooking' lager. It's against my religion, honest!

James and I are no the next table, also playing Chain of Command. No tanks for us, we will be playing on a mountain instead!

Hope to meet a few TMPers there, stop and say hello.
