From this thread TMP link it is suggested that Hoplites should get a charge bonus and Hoplite on hoplite battles should be bloody. Well great! What about Cavalry vs Cavalry? Should they be equally as volatile as Hoplite v Hoplite battles?Charge bonuses I get. Ignoring armor and a die or two works for me. What about a continued pitched battle? Should there be a "bump" for both sides? |

I agree, it is the initial impact that has the bonus for either or both units. Once they move on to the next round of melee they are too mixed up to fight with a bonus for charging. Matthew |

The thing is they would be easy to paint One side Black and One Side White. Print the scenarios in the Back of MAD magazine.

Both sides should get some bonus 'if' they charge, as opposed to merely advancing to contact. |
