After my rambling over the whole why "Tintin Imagi-Nations Wargaming", here is my shopping list for a 1939 Bordurian Army. Feedback welcome, especially on the tank thing which I'm not entirely satisfied with yet… |

You know I've often thought about this concept. Any more details ? Would any of the early war captured French tanks suit your needs , I'm thinking the Char B and Renaults , allot of FT-17's and R-35s were retrofitted for German use after the initial occupation of France and continued use until the Normandy landings. cheers Tom |

What about tanks like the 35(t), Landsverk L-60 and the Vickers 6-Tonner ? One trick might be to use the hull of one type of tank and then put the turret of another one on top. |

Trojan Note the during the Spanish Civil War the PzI was retrofitted with a 20mm Anti tank gun. Also Vickers E or Medium II may be suitable. The Vickers E was sold to many nations with a variety of turret fits and evolved in Russia to become the T26 |

I'm thinking FT-17s and R-35s for Syldavia, so… 35(t) keep popping up, I'll look into the two others! The "Doctor Moreau tank" idea is worth thinking about too. Thanks! |

Minairons miniatures (which makes 15, 20 and 28 mm versions of the same models) has several things on sale or pipeline which may be of interest ot you, including the 20 mm armed Panzer or some interesting SCW designs, including early T26 which could be convertes to Vickers 6 tons. Sticking a 20 mm or a 37 mm to a slightly converted T26 turret is not foolish and could look fine… TMP link |
