Iran also used large groups of unequipped children to clear minefields with their bodies, back in the Iran/Iraq War, so this really isn't too surprising. |

The Persians, like the Iraqis generally have demonstrated limited expertise in modern warfare … But at this point, the Persians seem to be way ahead of the Iraqi army. Boy Scouts with good leadership and weapons would most likely rival the Iraqis … |

Let's face it the only military worth anything in that whole region is that of Israel. The rest is nepotistic, corrupt or incompetent rubbish. Given accusations of some military officers in Turkey being forced into retirement or even arrested, I suspect they're soon going to join the "garbage pile." IIRC, the Taliban sent some of their boys to help out in Syria … Taliban dieing … don't really have a problem with that … Totally agree. Better they kill each other than they try to kill us! |

Saw on CNN today, in Iran, a woman was hung for killing the man that was trying to rape her. I'm sure there is a back story. But based on how most moslem countries follow the Koran/Shria law. I still will err on the side of her being innocent … probably by most Western Law standards … Based on what I've heard about the Koran/Shria law, the female is always somehow guilty … |
