I'm looking for additional suggestions on things that can go wrong in a tank during a tank-tank engagement. I'm trying to keep it somewhat on the serious side. Here is what I have. any suggestions welcome:

Potential Turret Jam – Next time the turret is rotated check to see if it jams.

Misfire – Additional seconds to clear the round from the chamber.

Potential Mobility Breakdown – When you attempt to move you may have thrown a track.

Gunner Laying Error – Your gunner fails to aim and lay the gun correctly for this or the next shot. Accuracy penalty.

Gunner Sighting Problem – Your Gunner has a problem sighting in on the next target. Increase engagement time.

Mobility Breakdown – Stalled the engine

Driver Miscommunication – Driver thought he heard a command to move out.

Gunner Sighting Problem – Your Gunner has a problem sighting in on the next target. Increase engagement time.

Loader Mistake – After you fire the loader picks the wrong type of round. Load HE if engaging armored targets and AP if engaging non-armored targets.

Loader Mistake – Loader drops round while reloading. Decrease ROF.

Tank Commander Distracted – He didn't spot tracer. No consecutive shot bonus.

Tank Commander Flinches – If he is currently unbuttoned he ducks down for the rest of the turn.

Tank Commander Distracted – No Situational Awareness Check allowed next turn.

Loader Mistake – Loader slips while reloading. Decrease ROF.

Tank Commander misestimates range – use accuracy penalty

Gun Malfunction – empty shell has jammed in the chamber.

Turret traverse motor broken (happened to Carius at Narva) – Slow Traverse for rest of game.

Stuck in low gear – limited speed for rest of game.

Wrong turn – Opponent moves tank 2".

Ran over sign – Defending tank loses benefit of marked lanes between firing positions.

Broken Vacuum Tube – No more radio.

Clogged air intake – One turn mobility breakdown, only in dusty/muddy terrain.

Leaking radiator – Chance of breakdown at high speed.

Broken brakes – No stationary fire bonus in first turn stationary.

May post more later – already thinking about making little cards for an FOW tank game!

Thanks

By FOW I meant "Fog of War", not Flames of War.

Thrown track-immobile.
MG jams…no secondary armament.
Dud round, need to reload.

FOW never means anything but Flames of War. It is a trademark violation and their attys will sue you.

Drive over a hidden obstacle (log in tall grass, etc…) everyone bounced around inside. Roll for injuries.

Fuel line leak. Extra chance to start on fire if a hit is taken.

Dust or mud on periscope, or its shattered due to incoming fire. Stop to take time for swapping it out or cleaning it.

Broken brake on one side. no sharp turns in that direction.

Wow, this could go on forever. After all, what could go wrong on a battlefield?!!
