Hi all,

Had a nice intro game to Saga with my brother during the week, Welsh vs Vikings. A small write and some pictures on the blog;

Very enjoyable game and am looking forward to playing again.

Good job Nato;
Nice to see someone using the Welsh.
Saga is a fun beer and pretzels game.

Thanks Joe.
A few blunders during the early stages as I was learning as I went. However i was getting a feel for the Welsh battle board throughout the game and am eager to try my hand at them again.

Have you tried the Welsh with more terrain?

I'll be using the terrain rules better in the next game, It was suggested that we keep it light on for this one..A cunning Viking tactic!

Good game!

Nice report, Nato. Your figures look great also--very nicely done.

I really like the look of that stream/river. Who is the maker? Did it come painted or is that your excellent work? Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Daryl.

The River is from Pegasus Models and was a gift a number of years ago from my Uncle. I'm certain they are still available too.

I've given mine a very light drybrush and or highlight in areas, but they do look great out of the box.

You can't blame the poor Viking about the terrain just because your Welsh were unable to shoot a bow or throw a javelin in a straight line :)
