Great stuff Brian. The terraining on the bases is especially well done. Now time to post some after action reports with pictures! grin

Nicely done.

working on the same British and yes, mounted on 20 rounds, using Lord of the Rings inf. stands…8 figure movement trays. 16 figure units…too funny!

Very well done. I am using Black Tree and Redoubt also. Where do you get your bases from?

@War wizard.
The bases in the shot above are just 3mm 50x50mm mdf or ply bases (cannot remember which). I think they may be Lithko. My sabot bases are sourced locally in New Zealand from a company called Dopey Dog Laser engraving. Pretty much anyone with a laser cutter can make them though. Warbases in the UK sell them (I have brought from them before – they are great to deal with). I use a thin piece of magnetised vinyl on the bottom of the sabot bases cut to the same size as the base. My British sabot bases are 60x60 and the Zulu ones are 60x90.

Brian,

These are really great.
Ive done 60 (3 regt/20) Zulus, from Wargames Factory so far, with TSATF as the intended rules set, but yet to play. Time and again I have considered baseing them in groups of 4 or 5 for large battle rules. And seeing how well yours turned out, your 'not' helping my indecision. Thanks (LOL)

Your British were really nice as well. I only wish 'someone' did cav in plastc.

What rules were they based for and do you use?

BTW.. It looks like you've got your own 'lil slice of heaven' out in the country; As we say in the states. A beautiful place Brian.
