My friend Bill was nice enough to run a game of GASLIGHT for our group this past weekend. The Brits and Germans are both working to establish colonies on the recently found continent of Randistan. Each of these great powers has enlisted native allies and is working to establish a foothold. The Brits found the German's compound and have chosen to assault it in an effort to drive them from this land. You can see more pictures and details on my blog. link
A British steam walker and infantry support attempt to flank the German compound.
A German airship shows up just in time to evacuate the remaining Germans. They have already requested reinforcements and have started making plans for their return. |

Great report and photos! Thanks for sharing. I love the airship. Is the hull the large Atlantis sub? I've got one that I have yet to make use of…. |

I believe that it is the Atlantis sub. The crew cabin is an old Rhino. I didn't make it, but I'm guessing Randy will see this post and confirm the materials used to create the model. |

That was a nice looking game! I have two of those subs and haven't figured out what to do with them yet. |

Yes Chris the hull is an Atlantis sub hull. The deck is doll house flooring and the cabin is an early 40K rhino body. This was one of my first attempts at building a Nef. Thanks Sean for posting the pictures. |

That was one of your first? I thought this was a later model. Hard to see from this angle, but as I recall, the flying bridge is from a toy sub, and the crow's nest from a toy pirate ship. Prop is an old GW flying base. One can only imagine in awe the wonders the man could accomplish with a cocktail shaker.. ;->= Thanks thricely, Sean! Doug |

I can only take credit for the few pictures here. All the models, terrain, and game ideas lie at the feet of better men than I. I'm glad you all like the pictures and brief write up. Thanks again to Bill for running the game and to my fellow combatants. Sorry you couldn't make it Doug. We missed you. |
