I recently purchased a set of Rogue Miniatures "Dogs of War". They are excellent pieces and very well worth the price.

See here:

The figures were cast true to the source material and I believe that is as it should be. I've seen very similar situations with other movie/TV inspired figures.

Since, as I said, "they are true to the source material" they have what would be seen in a movie but not what they would normally need in actual fact. As examples, only one figure has a canteen and ammo pouches for many of the lesser weapons are completely lacking.

I expect that I will be adding canteens, pouches, and the like on to these figures.
It's all part of the fun.

Thanks,
Vince

At thirty two quid I think I will pass.

I was a little taken back by the price as well.

The real deciding factor was that I recently sold some old figures putting a surplus in the PayPal account. I look at it as trading my unwanted figures for something new.

BTW – the figures look even better in the flesh (bare metal).

I notice a lack of sexual tyrannosaurs.

Maybe if the price was $25 USD total for 7 minis, but at that price of $51.63 USD it needs to be more like 20+ minis for me to even think about it.

Years and years ago I was in a local hobby shop (it's still there) and I saw a single 28mm GW figure of a banshee that I liked. I just didn't look at the price. It rang up at over $16. USD It was a very nice figure, painted up well, and I guess it had a name.

I would have loved it if these figures were less costly, however, they all are named.

If there was a companion pack of 7 South American rebels for the same price, I would join you in taking a pass.

Man oh man. . . I got me the Horrorclix Preditors box too.

How much is that American and with shipping? That's gotta be like $50 USD buck? I'm crying over here.

edit: just checked its $51.48 USD without shipping OUCH!

Hi,
Just ordered these, how big are these against the INAPS figures?

Cheers

Jeff
