I'm aware that they still have a webpage up: link But are they still active? Keen to find out if there are any actual plans for an updated version of Jim Webster's 'Hellfire' Rules. If plans are on hold for lack of people to do the work, I'd willingly volunteer :o) Any thoughts or help appreciated on this one. |

I suggest you'd be better off asking Jim Webster direct rather than Wessex Games. Jim had an article in the November 2013 isuue of MWBG so you might try Henry as a first point of contact. Since Hellfire was written 20 years ago, I very much doubt that Jim has any plans to update it. Indeed, why would it need updating? As I recall it gave an interesting take on mainly infantry actions. |

Thanks MajorB, I was only following the comment on the Hellfire page on the Wessex Games site – they are the ones who indicated a revised edition if demand warranted it. And many thanks for the MWBG prompter too. |

Things are pretty quiet, but every so often something gets posted on the Yahoo group. Most are still waiting for their 1918 Air War rules; personally I'm waiting for their aeronef to get back in production – it's been a few years since I was told it'd be "a few months". |

I have the same observations and experience as boy wundyr x. Wessex is not moving on anything it seems. |

Hellfire isn't available, so not as much help to the OP as I would like, but if people are interested in their other rules, a lot of their other titles are now sold as PDFs at Wargames Vault. Aside from Aeronef, they're in a 'stripped' format with no interior art, but the rules are fun. I also would love to see Hellfire available again, I have some Hellfire scenarios from old Ragnarok mags and from what I can gather reading between the lines the rules seem intriguing. |

Aquanef was originally due for release in 2006. I would like to see that and the scenario book " Hell On Jaralldah" too. |
