link Follow the link and check both the Scenery page and the French and Indian War page. You just might be glad you did. But be warned, photo heavy. |

Tango, no disrespect intended but are you perhaps color blind? I actually polled a variety of folks when I first set up the blog and almost everyone was fine with this final set up after I adjusted for the concern you've expressed. Or maybe your monitor is adjusted different. Either way, thanks for looking. Might post the two page URLs later. |

Early Morning Writer I can definately say that I'm not colour blind* but your blog does strain the readability criteria for web sites. The black on the sun yellow/orange for the body text is just about acceptable to read, but the titles and links roll over colour is way too close for it not to induce eye strain – especially on anyone not in their twenties – after some length of time. Again, no disrespect intended, but can I tactfully suggest you chose an alternative colour for both the standard and 'rolled over' state of your link text and menut buttons and select something with a little higher contrast? The text style of the buttons and some links – the thin script style – ain't helping your site either. Failing that, a white background – as opposed to the yellow orange – would do the trick. I agree -- it's very hard to read. |
