Printing Scenario Maps with Poster Software

You've got a scenario map, and you need to create some hills. Is there some way to just print out the map in very large scale, so you can trace the outline of the hills you need to build? The Editor finds out...

Nice technique. I always take a piece of 22 gauge electrical wire (a couple bucks for 100' at Radio Shack or the like) and glue them down under the flock. Some times I twist two together for a bit. That technique also allows me to shape the wire, lay it against the surface and get a lo-res preview of how it will look. It can get a little fiddly bending the wire if you go up and over a lot of corners.

Etotheipi,

Instead of a bare wire, I've used tightly twisted twist ties (the ones with paper coating). Works for trunks and larger branches.

For smaller ones I peel the paper, but leave the adhesive on, so that the PVA and flock will stick.

If I were to do it again today, I'd probably use twine/string of different thicknesses, as it is more likely to lie down easier.
