I'd like to mix some Artizan design miniatures with some from Warlord. I already did with success with other ranges but the doubt now is regarding the several kind of different Jackets (Jump jackets) used by us airborne. Do AD and Warlord miniatures wear the same? |

The main differences I can recall off the top of my head is that the Bolt Action airborne mostly are wearing gloves and have a lot more kit/backpacks/ropes etc. I mix Artizan, Battle Honors, West Wind, Black Tree, Bolt Action all together.

I bought 80+ Bolt Action paras, and about 10 Artizan. In my opinion, the BA models are better looking. All of them have mussette bags, the "right" gear on their belts, a lot of helmet scrim and reinforced patches on their knees and elbows. I only painted a couple of the Artizan before I decided they were not what I was looking for. I am not above mixing brands of minis in a platoon or army, but, again, in my opinion, BA really just nailed what I like to think US paratroopers looked like in Normandy. |
