Do you have interest in a 15mm scale model of a Soviet T80U main battle tank? TIA |

Not unless I'm allowed to use them as part of a 1940/1941 Soviet army :) |

Why, of course! A bit silly to ask such a hungry mob. ;-D |

I haven't checked lately, but Quality Castings had one didn't they? I think you could get one with or without ERA. Although I've been told QC are slightly smaller than 15mm. |

I have some QC and it is all 15mm. I like them they just don't have as big a selection as one would like. |

Thanks for the replies. QC does have a T80 with and without reactive, but it is not a T80U as near as I can tell. Quality Castings used to call out their models as being 1/108th scale. In reality, they often scale out to be a little larger than that, but still a little smaller than most other manufacturers. I have quite a number of their models, mostly WWII, but some modern. |

Yep, QC does T-80BV IIRC, really quite nothing to do with the T-80U. And yes, would definetly buy couple of them. For late-cold war soviet army finests (after all, it was the toughest soviet steamroller to see daylight during cold war), for modern russians and for my african imagination tinpot-dictator. Oh, and now something completely OT; how it is going with that Starship (& A1)? Havent heard much about it for a while. I hope it was not amongst the victims of that sewer-incident? |

We do the T-80 and T-80BV, but the T-80U has a new turret, as well as a different engine. |

@MaahisKuningas90, Maybe a year and a half ago, the mold rubber that I've used for decades was "new & improved". The result caused a number of problems (higher vacuum requirements, reduced mold life, limitations to undercuts, etc). I've found a replacement that is chemically identical to the original, but haven't found a vender that will sell it in small enough quantities yet. Until I have time to work out the problem, the M60s and a few other things are on hold. |

Brian, how about we donate you some coinage upfront to assist with cashflow, so you can make more new, nice, shiny models? I'm sure your many happy customers would love to help out, on the future promise of maybe a free/reduced cost model when mould making material is obtained. |
