Here is my version of Piper Bill, he is my version so he may not be 100% correct but he looks ok to me
The body is a craved up Victrix highlander with usual greenstuff detail and spares from Warlords British commandos, he has taken awhile to do but hopefully he will look even better once painted! So thanks for looking and I will post pics ASAP once he is finished Cheers for now Russ |

Should paint up quite well. Have fun with the kilt. I've often thought of doing some Highlanders for my British Colonials. But painting tartan, among other things, causes me to rethink that part of the project. |

World War 2 is not the first thing that comes to mind when I see Napoleonic Highlanders. Good job. BTW, when painting Highlanders, it's not the tartan that drives you nuts while painting. It's the diced hose. |

Jeff Ewing thank you, I'm just hoping it looks as good painted! Thanks Robby, I've done black watch tartan before and it turned out ok. It was pretty easy once you'd broken it down into stages, so once you've nailed it, it ends up being pretty simple. Famous last words! I would give it ago you may surprise yourself. John the OFM, thank you sir for your kind words. I've got to agree with you about the diced hose, they are abit of a pain! I've got away with not having to paint them on Bill, he is wearing khaki socks! And no checkered pattern around his Bonnet, thank goodness for berets! Troop of shewe, thank you also. After admiring your work for a number of years your comment is a true compliment, you do some fantastic work in 20mm and 15mm! Which puts my 28mm to shame. So thanks again guys and I will post pics once I've slapped some paint around. Cheers for now Russ |
