I find the problem with cats is that they don't know when to stop rolling until the dice is under the couch and out of paw reach… |
raylev3 | 18 Oct 2014 6:38 p.m. PST |
My dog would probably roll at least as well as me. |
etotheipi | 18 Oct 2014 6:48 p.m. PST |
Well, this is how my dog rolls …
… so maybe not. |

My cat was one of those gamers who flung the dice across the table like she was playing c raps. Then if the dice fell on the floor she figured it was hers and take off with it. I still find the odd d20 around her favorite haunts now and then. |

My puppy would be more interested in eating the dice |

You'd need an octopus for 'buckets of dice' games like Warhammer: link |

But NEVER allow your pet elephant to roll. Here's why…..

My cats would never roll for me.Instead, they would steal figures and hide them in shoes… |

One of my dogs ate a mini dice once. When it reappeared naturally, it ended up being a six. :-) |

Was the game held up waiting for the results? No one claimed "Cocked die?" |

Good luck getting your dice back. |

Ive learnt that rabbits arent really suitable companions for wargaming with: all they want to do is taste test all the scenery and then steal the tapemeasure. Hamsters are better, especially when defending a castle: they'll hold that gate against any number of vikings!

My beagles would just eat the dice… Eric |

Dear Etotheipi Oooooh!!!! Malemute or Siberian!?! Used to have two Malemutes when much younger. How old is yours? That muzzle and head looks like a Malemute! Thinking of getting Malemute's again when I move to Maine and retire. Otto |
etotheipi | 20 Oct 2014 4:45 p.m. PST |
He's a malamute. He weighs in at about a buck and a quarter; used to be about a buck and a half, but he's getting older now. They are amazing dogs. Still wouldn't let him roll dice, though… |

If he/she doesn't roll, how can you tickle his/her tummy? |
OSchmidt | 21 Oct 2014 4:06 a.m. PST |
Dear Etotheipi Great dogs! I concur. I fell in love with the breed. They will amaze you all the time with how human they can be. Smart too, and one of the most affectionate I have ever known. Better than a lab, but unlike a lab you can't bamboozle them. And, if you do… you'll pay for it, as you no doubt well know. Where did you get him. Name? How Old? Did you bother with the whole dog-show champion thing.? I did, wouldn't do it again. Otto |

Where did you get him? Pet store. We weren't looking for a dog, but I was abhorred by such an outdoor dog being in a cage. Let the kids play with him a bit We literally got in the car, started driving and I asked if we should go back. The vote was four to nothing. Name? Oberon. The cat is Titania. How Old? Coming up on 15. Did you bother with the whole dog-show champion thing.? Nah. He has a pedigree, but he's a family dog. We did go to a local dog show breeder for training. Dog training is not training for the dog. It is training for the humans to be consistent with the animals. If you are consistent with pets, they will learn the rest from you. |

My dog (a cocker-collie cross) would just give me the "You want me to do WHAT? off. Give me a biscuit, slave" look, shortly before bogging off in the opposite direction. She's too lazy even to stick her head in the open sacks of food (which are kept on the floor) to feed herself… |
