I've put a couple of comparison shots on my blog of AB, Warmodelling, Blue Moon and Minifigs 15/18mm French for the Late Revolutionary / Early Napoleonic wars. I hope this is of interest. Pictures are on my blog here… link Thanks for looking, Colin |

Coiin, Thanks for putting up a comparison, You made it clear that Warmodelling and AB's would match up, but even from your image it looks like the Warmodelling figs need some work to get them ready for paint. John |

Interesting that Minifigs don't look so out of place in terms of anatomy, size, etc as one might suppose. I've always said that, whatever the limitations of the rank-and-file, Minifigs command packs and gun crews have some superb animation and pose choices. |

Thanks for posting this, Colin. If I had to pick two favorites, I'd choose AB and Minifigs. Minifigs has some FRW French figures that have some real panache. Sadly, Minifigs doesn't produce any figures for France's continental enemies. Furthermore, I really like AB's Austrians of the FRW, as well as AB's early French. It's interesting that no manufacturer has truly devoted itself to the production of a comprehensive FRW range covering most or even all of the combatants. |

I'm nearly finished a battalion of AB's FRW Austrian Hungarian line infantry, but with the later helmeted command, and they are some of the best sculpts I've painted (my painting isn't good enough to show them at their best). I agree, there needs to be a better choice of FRW figures. |

Anybody make pre-1798 chevau-leger, uhlan or Kurassiers compatable with AB (who make lovely hussars and dragoons). Apart from the cavalry, I really like the AB grenzer I'm about to start, even have some rifles with the rest. :) Phil |

The BH Austrian cuirassiers are very compatible with AB – I believe you could use even AB horses to enhance this – otherwiese we should talk Sho Boki into makeing Chevaulegers |
