A friend of mind just gave me 2 of this fig and I'm trying to figure out what he is. Unfortunately no pic b/c the wife took it on vacay. So here 's the description

-The slotta tab says "Y2K, Ral Partha" on the front and either "STS" or "SCS" on the back.

-It's a skinny guy in raggedy jeans and no shirt,

-He has wrappings around his face and head halfway between a bedouin and a zombie.

-Nothing in his right hand which is in a fist.

-In his left hand he has a sign on a fairly long stick that says "repent"

Google has been no help, and I wonder if he was some sort of end of the millennium commemorative fig?

Have you tried "The Stuff of Legends"? Though I haven't found anything close.

Take the figure to the local copy store and make a xerox picture of it.

I haven't searched through TSOL or Lost Minis wiki. They're not organized by date, so it'd be a long search. I have looked through the entire 2000 Ral Partha Catalog however, and it's not there. If no one knows by tomorrow I'll start digging there. Otherwise I'll have the camera back by Sunday afternoon.

What would I do with the xerox copy? Put it up on telephone poles?
;-)

Doesn't ring any bells with me, either. The "STS" or "SCS" on the back of the tab could indicate that it was a promo for a convention, which would also explain why it wasn't in the 2000 catalog.

When did RP use Slot Tabs?

Starting in the 2000s, maybe a few years before that, but only for their newer lines.

If you can, look through the 2001 Ral Partha catalog… it will have the stuff they produced during 2000 as well.

There wasn't one at the site I visited, but I'll look for a 2001 catalog. That was the year they went out of business, yes?

Couldn't find a 2001 catalog, but I did find the 2003 Iron Wind Metals catalog here: PDF link
My fig is not in there, but the pics are much better than how they look on the IWM website. I had forgotten how many beautiful sculpts Ral had.
