Other than the various demons of chaos figures produced for Warhammer by GW, what are some other options out there in 28mm? I am not really too curious about one-off character demons, but in rank-and-file type sculpts that you could build a demon army for mass battles with. |

D&D and Pathfinder prepaints. I've gotten most of my hordling rank and file lower-level demons for about $1 USD-$1.50 per figure. |

The Mantic ghouls suggestion is an interesting one. I had not thought much about the possible crossover between some undead-type figures and representing demons/devils. |

warhammer ungors. They're ugly little dudes with horns and goat legs. all you really need to do is convert some tridents for them. |

I have found the older MageKnight lines have many demons. I bought a number in bulk lots over the years. Not always the most available but are usually cheap. |

Honestly pretty much most orc miniatures can look demonic enough if you paint them right.
just add horns and other bits and bobs to your liking. |

We're doing a whole bunch of them, but I'm sorry to say they are in 15mm scale, not 28. |

There's a good selection at CP Models, and lots of them come in cheap horde sets, too:
Check out their fantasy and night terror ranges. Main page: cpmodelsminiatures.co.uk Also, just enter 'demon' and 'devil' in ral partha's search engine & you'll find loads of great demons for rank and file troops. |

Mage Knight Demon Spawn figures are quite accurate to D&D's Hell Hounds. Here's a link showing photo's of them OEM, and my modified versions, with gouts of flame coming from their mouths: Link. They're affordable, and they offer some disposable troop types to add a little spice to your units. Cheers! |
