Hey guys, I have a few miniatures I've had sculpted up out of Polyclay. I understand that some moldmakers won't touch it with a ten foot clown pole. So, is anyone here willing to work with the stuff?

Well you could get a silicon mold done of the master and then make a resin copy to have a production mold made.

Check the smooth on company to see if they have some ideas. I know they list casters that use their products world wide.

I haven't had any issues making vulcanized molds from the Smooth Cast 300 series.

It's not really a matter of difficulty, it has more to do with the extra equipment, time and expense of having to make resin castings for masters.

Some places don't want to have to learn a whole new process and buy more equipment.
