I see that Mr Rawkins is back in print. TMP user Mike the Mug pointed me at his web site, as I was interested in Wurttemberg: link The books are cheap (£3.99) and sent on DVD. I may as well buy anything good now. What do the TMP members have and recommend? I suppose I'm just looking to leave out anything bad and buy the rest. They are cheap. I would just make a simple statement:- " I have all those listed and will continue purchasing as more become available. They are excellent value for money" |

ditto, and BTW, the 9th volume on the Swiss is also out. I purchase them 3 at a time, as best value with post to the USA. |

Avoid the Swedish one. It is not very accurate (kind of like the old Scandinavian Armies Osprey). It invents and misidentifies units, misstates uniform details, and completely misunderstands the indelta system. I've never understood why British authors on the Scandinavian armies never seem to consider contacting the Swedish and Danish army museums. |

Thanks for the link…been trying to find these for a year, even through special loans through the local library, with no luck. |

rmaker I am interested in the sources you have that " British" authors do not have access to? Perhaps you would be good enough to clarify please. |

The Swedish one does say it has been "substantially revised and updated" for this new version. I do wish they were available for digital download instead of on disk. |

Both the Swedish and Danish army museums have issued books on their respective armies during the Napoleonic Wars. I don't have the Danish book, but the Swedish one, Between the Imperial Eagles has a short chapter on the Danes. On Military Matters usually has it. |

Is this a recent publication? I have been to the Swedish army museum and would have snapped up such a publication had it been available. There is nothing listed on their website, do you have an ISBN and title so I can track this book down? |

Green Tiger It is just "hot off the press". Use link from first post to connect. Free postage within UK. |

rmaker, are you talking about the new revised books or the original ones? |

Green Tiger, I assume you mean the Swedish armee museum book – it was published in 2000 and I believe is now out of print. There is one available at nearly $141 USD on abe books link |

Excellent little book. Remember that it is better to get it direct from Caliver Books as you do not have the Abe books markup. Stephen |
