Are they old SAE toy soldiers

auction

Best guess would be Eriksson / SAE – they have the right appearance for Eriksson, but there could be some Greenwood figures in there too (some have the look of the Greenwood figures, as sold by Jack Scruby).

I thought I was reminded on some of Jack Scruby's early figures. Since he sold Greenwood then he might have patterned his sculpting on them.

Jim: Jack's early Napoleonic figures (30mm & 20mm) were indeed created using Greenwood pattern figures as the base.

As a side note: Not many 30mm patterns have survived, but I do have a number of 20mm patterns and even a few [drop] molds for casting same.

Strange that the seller calls these 25 mm figures and does not tell what the manufacturer is. Why doesn't someone just ask him, I would if I had an eBay account.

They certainly look like SAE figures to me. I have a very large collection of AmericanCivil War figures from this company. I didn't know they made so many Napoleonic era figures.

Does anyone know where to get a complete listing of all SAE figures?

I asked and he doesn't know.

Those are a mix of SAE originals and recasts of SAE
figures.

I've quite a few SAE's and matched a number of my figures
with 6 of those in the photo – the one's with a brownish
tint to the base.

Not sure about the mounted officer, but the mounted figure
in the background is an SAE and I think a recast, same with
the British color figure.

Bobgnar, Napoleonics and AWI were staples of SAE production
along with the ACW you mentioned.
