"Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) unveils its High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) modernization solution at the Association of the United States Army conference in Washington, D.C.

"The HMMWV has had an enduring role in the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps and across the international ground forces community for decades," said Frank Simpkins, director, land forces programs, Northrop Grumman Technical Services. "By leveraging our customer mission and platform knowledge and assembling a best-in-class industry team, we believe Northrop Grumman has a tremendous offering that would appeal to every member of the global HMMWV community."

Northrop Grumman partnered with Meritor Defense and Pratt & Miller Engineering on the solution, which extends the life of the HMMWV while significantly lowering sustainment costs and increasing fuel efficiency…"
