What size are these? Will they be metal or plastic or resin? |
CaseyNOVA | 15 Oct 2014 8:47 a.m. PST |
15mm, metal. Will probably come with metal bases, as most BFaS figures do. |

Thanks CaseyNOVA: pity they're 15mm not 28mm :( but great for 15mm gamers and I love the box artwork :) |

There is another board for product news. But product promoters have always and will always post their ads and announcements on the discussion board. The board is for "anything related to 18th Century miniature wargaming". But I would have to partly agree that this is spam because it is not a discussion topic but a product announcement and there are several better places on TMP for that. But you have to go with the flow and understand that wargamers in general aren't the smartest people. Take a look at the Historical Wargaming discussion board. The purpose of the board is "For discussion of things related to historical wargaming in general, and not to specific periods." Yet almost every post is about a specific historical period and cross-posted to several other specific historical periods boards for good measure too. ROFL. Or the Napoleonic guys who cross-post to the 18thC boards although the N period began in 1799. I wonder what would happen if the AWI board cross-posted to the N boards because a general or two fought in both wars. Oh pxxp! Now I have turned the thread into a discussion. |

What about links to somebody else's webstore's ebay link pages, where the TMP thread references what happens to be only one of the (temporary) auctions…? |

I think there will be plastic bases in every new box. What I would like to know: for kickstarter backers the Janissary box includes 6 sheets of flags and additional miniatues; will that be the same for every Janissary box? Sipahi of the guard, Azabs, Tufekci… I am really looking forward to those minis. cheers |

I have started work on them shortly after Christmas, A good variety of poses in the boxes, flags, pennants and bases excellent. The problems I have had with them is how brittle the figures are, if you slightly moving an arm it will brake off, straiten up a horses on it's and it will brakes off. Also the men do not fit on there horses very well. It has been hard work getting them to the stage of based and undercoated, I have now put them to the back of my painting list. |
