After running a few sessions of 5150 FC with actual players my comfort level for running a con game just isn't there yet.

I have changed to run a Federation vs Klingon slugfest using the A Call to Arms Star Fleet rules and the large Starline 2500 minis. Saturday morning and afternoon sessions.

What happened with your Confed/Kilrathi game?
Did you post updates and I missed them?

I've run a couple games but it's complex enough with reactions and charts that I did not have confidence that players would grok what was going on at a noisy convention.

Bummer, but recognize your wisdom.

Was really looking forward to that dust up, but can wait. ;->=

That is, was looking forward to the AAR; be awhile before I'll be heading to any cons further than a couple of hundred miles away, alas.
