I'm looking for a set of tokens to place near figures representing the playing card used for their initiative. The ones in this failed Kickstarter would have been perfect, if a bit large: link Does anyone know of a company that produces something similar? |

Find some card faces on the web. Copy them, reduce them to about 3/4" round, Print them, Laminate them, Then cut them out. Now you have your tokens. |

You may want to look at craft sellers for playing card charms. Here are some examples of the many styles that are available:

Avery Labels makes a round label set that we have used in the past to put on blank poker chips. |

Or mini playing cards? I have loads of these collected over the years from Christmas crackers. A bit large perhaps, 40mm x 60mm, but cheap. link |

There's a game called "Play 5" which is a cross between Poker & Scrabble and includes a set of square playing card tokens mounted on wood about 20mm square. You can see them in use in this game: link |

In the other direction and not nearly as pretty, take a sharpie marker and write the name of the unit on its corresponding card. Alternatively, print the unit names on mailing labels and apply those labels to the cards you want to represent them. |

Real Simple Take a deck of 52 cards and scan all of them. Then reduce them to postage stamp size and print out on cardstock and cut out. There you go- cheap, easy fast. If you want, send me your postal delivery address to sigurd@eclipse.net and I'll run it off for you in a week or two if you don't have the computer equipment to do it. Otto |
