Enjoy,

Man, I love that. I do not think I am that talented to do that with mine. Thanks

PHGamer13 Oct 2014 7:32 a.m. PST

Thanks, but once the thought was there, Marvin painted up fairly easily. 4 colors, black, white, green and red. Interestingly, the mid section connecting piece looks a lot like Marvin's (the cartoon) skirt. The frill on the head was the only problem. I settled for yellow pipe cleaner, glued to a raft of tooth picks. It is secured by a toothpick spike on one end, and a couple of rare-earth magnets on the other.

Oh, Myyyy!

Not thinking of this first makes me angry! Very angry indeed!

"Oh, Myyyy!"
Excellent cadence on that. My wife actually came up with the idea of painting a tripod this way, and my mind immediately went to the article on the "Red Martian" so it was a natch. But I was just the implementer here. The credit for the LED eyes belongs to Scott Washburn, who also makes paper terrain suitable for 15mm/HO scale.

What I am looking for now is a set of doll sneakers for the feet.

Outstanding. Now you need to convert one of the Slavers into his dog.

How much damage does a space discombobulator do?

Black Cavalier13 Oct 2014 9:49 a.m. PST

Yes, but is it armed with a P-38 Modulator?

"How much damage does a space discombobulator do?"

All of it.

Is he the Martian equivalent of the Red Baron?

Very Inspirational!

PHGamer14 Oct 2014 7:09 a.m. PST

More like the Martian equivalent of the Red Shirts on Star Trek.

Actually, the work filling and attaching seems to suggest DIY would be as much effort. Some amorphous pillow shape with black crosshatch lines, and Bob's your uncle.

Wish I'd seen this post first; I took piccies from the Tripod Down! AAR down to the store to share with the manage. He was properly charmed.
