In the latest Wargames, Soldiers and Strategy there is an article showing how to do it using different plastic kit conversions and re-combining what's available. The autor used pieces from Fireforge, Perry, Gripping Beast and Warlord Games Celtic. |

Yes, this is "Captain Blood" from the Lead Adventures Forum. An amazingly talented guy. |

You guys are aware that you can find all the pictures from that article, as well as many more, on the Lead Adventure Forum? In fact, there are a ton of 'Game of Thrones'-related threads about conversions and plastics kitbashing in the 'Fantasy' and 'Medieval' sections of LAF. lead-adventure.de/index.php Just search for "Westeros", "Game of Thrones", or "Song of Ice and Fire". In the Medieval section, there is also a huge non-GoT thread by Captain Blood about conversion work with Perry and Fireforge plastics. |

Thanks for bringing my attention to this amazing project. I compelety agree about costuming in the mini-serias – ignore it! Its given me the courage to steer my Iron born away from a pseudo-viking look to more of a mixed medieval/raider look. This has rekindled my interest in WSS, which I'd stopped buying (though I noticed that there were many complaints that the article was too short and lacked enough photos compared with many longer puff pieces.)
