I'm converting a Jonny Reb scenario to They Couldn't Hit an Elephant – they seem roughly analogous. I don't have JR so will people please clarify a few points. Classification TCHAE has Raw, Average and Veteran. Are the equal to Green, Veteran and Elite, or are there other classifications? Units MAY be classed as resolute, Aggressive or Cautious- is there anything like this in JR? How are officers classed? What is the ground and time scale? Thanks. |

The 3 morale states (classifications) match. There is no Resolute- Cautious, it leaves that to the player. There is Fatigued- minus 1 morale, but same fire strength. Scale is 50 yds/inch and 20 minutes a turn |

Cheers- How are the officers classed, and what effects does this have? With Elephant they get Action Points, which are used to give orders. Generally the further away, the more AP (Peter Pig players know this system too) |

Brigade Officers are usually +1, it adds to the fire effect and a Morale benefit. Divisional Officers are usually +2 for Morale benefit and +1 for fire effect. Bobby Lee might be a +3 for Morale, but most officers are +1 or 2. Some Officers are +0- no Fire or Morale effect but there for CmdCntl. Command control is 1 foot in open and reduced by bad terrain, and no movement if out of CC. |

Magic – think I can finish the conversion. Just need to think how im going to integrate the definate timings in JR with the variable turn length (due to coffee break) in Elepant. Thanks |
