I have heard for ages this was a good store, and the other day was in Chicago on business and took the time to run out to it. It is in the northwest suburbs past the airport, so about 30 minutes from downtown, but well worth the drive. I strongly encourage anyone who goes to Chicago to take the time for a visit if possible--I have never been in a game store this loaded with stuff. It is not stocked with much historical wargaming miniatures (though it has tons of FoW and some plastics kits, etc.), but it has plenty of terrain and accessories for our hobby. The strength of the store is in the fact that it holds almost anything else you might want--RPG items, boardgames, GW and other collectable miniatures games, rules for historical games, reference books, terrain, etc. Unless you are a historical miniatures purist, it is well worth taking an hour or two to browse their stock. |

I loved dealing with them years ago when I was working with Wargames West, Chessex, & others. My biggest regret from my last Chicago trip was not going to see the store. |

Our club meets in Chicago, but we still make the hour long trek during rush hour to have a club meeting there every couple of months as well as attending they're twice annual auctions which are amazing. It's the best game store I've ever been to. |
