I've got several hundred mounted Sioux to churn out – can you recommend a suitable paint colour (available in the UK) for authentic skin tones, with maybe a wash over the top?

I've done this without a wash with enamels, using pure leather for darker Indians (Commanches), and a half leather, half flesh mix for others.I presume it would work with acrylics, and if using a wash I suggest mixing in some flesh (perhaps a quarter or so) for Commanches and maybe three quarters for lighter Indians.
