I will be in the DC / Gettysburg area soon and I am looking for wargaming shops. Looking for loose used Heroclix.

Only a few. Game Parlor in Chantilly---not sure of their stock of Heroclix. I know there are a couple on the MD side, but can't recall names---in the Glen Burnie area, IIRC.

Games and Stuff in Glen Burnie. We play historical games every Sunday if you are around. ECW tomorrow.

If you are going to drive to Gettysburg by going out to Leesburg and take 15N, then stop by Huzzah Hobbies. It is the best game store in the DC area.

Bunkermeister, if you are north of DC in Rockville, the Dream Wizard game shop had used Heroclix, however, I can't remember if they still do. Their number is: 301-881-3530. Nice guys! Enjoy your DC trip!

If you are stopping in G-burg, take a look at Gettysburg Toy Soldier shop at the corner of Steinwehr Ave and (I think) the Emittsburg Road. Either way, John Zbwawa is a great guy. Go on the Gettysburg Area Gamers website (just Google it) and you'll find the link.

Compleat Strategist in Falls Church, Mainly board games but some GW and role play stuff.

Victory Comics. Mostly fantasy and Sci-fi gaming for miniatures but lots of board games as well. Half the shop is comics and collectibles so you might find used clix here.

Comics and Gaming in Fairfax. I gather it is mainly card, board and role playing games. I have yet to get there and see the shop.

Huzzah as mentioned above.

Game Parlor also mentioned above.

I did not know Dream Wizards was still open. I've never been. May have to take a trip. It's about a half hour from my house.

Games and Stuff is a solid hour away. It's a pretty cool hole-in-the-wall shop (a pretty large hole mind you!) with an emphasis on role playing games.

Eagle and Empire in Alexandria. Mostly Flames of War and Bolt Action. They do (or did) have a smattering of other historical and sci-fi stuff. Not sure what the shop is like now. It's been a while.

Hope that helps.

Thank you all for the assistance. MRS Bunkermeister visited them all and I did make a few purchases. We had a good time and I will post photos on my blog over the next few days of some of our time at Gettysburg.
