We have had a lot of interest in this set, apologies Ligniere we grabbed the first couple of 28mm figures to hand to check for scale against the masters. Hope in the next few days to be able to show the 'stone' base frame. Many Thanks Joan

Joan,
No worries, quite understand – question, the kit, from the top picture, appears to show a resin stone wall base, is this included?

Renedra Limited14 Oct 2014 7:11 a.m. PST

Hi Ligniere, no these are just our masters that we made in house, the 'stone' bases are part of the kit, but it will all be in hard plastic (HIP) we do not do resin. There are 4 bases on a sprue with 20 additional 'loose' stones, to enable customisation and a 3D effect. I have just been in the toolroom and the bases mould is coming along well, hoping to have pre-production shots next week. There will be 1 stone bases frame and 2 frames of cross rail fencing in the kit. We will be putting updates about this project on our facebook page, also for anyone interested in how we manufacture our figure moulds we have just put up the next stage of the manufacture of Perry Miniatures new Light Cavalry. Thank you for the interest – Joan

Perry's what????????????????????????????????????? "New Light cavalry" A scoop!

Weep, I now see they are from a slightly earlier period than ours.

Your tombstones are brilliant by the way. Plancenoit churchyard. I can see them now

I'm a little surprised that, of all things to make as a plastic kit, this would be one of them. Don't get me wrong – good luck and all that – but I can think of fewer things easier to construct myself from cocktail sticks (or barbeque skewers depending on scale needed) and gravel.

Renedra make fine plastic kits and I'm really not knocking their efforts, but I'm surprised that these appear to be popular.

However, each to their own!
