I bought my friend some Hawaiians at the Historicon Flea Market. When they are painted and we play them I think that will qualify as pretty obscure.

Had not seen the Hawaiian wars but have played Chaco and a couple other South American conflicts from the 1800s. I wonder if these are as obscure for our South American bretheren as they seem to us northern hemisphere types.

I played a board game of the Chaco War back in the 70's.

Only one Chaco War so far.

I've always wondered why the Maximillian War isn't bigger amongst wargamers. To me, it has so many elements in it's favor; loads of different, colourful units, personalities etc.

The Honey War – a face off between Iowa and Missouri over their common border. Both states mobilized their militia, but in the real world it never came to blows. Our group fought it out.
