Hope you can help. Im starting an army for Lion Rampant and wanted to do a Florentine army, no particular century, althought early i suppose would fit in. Having search all over im still unsure on how it will look. Should my outfits be the same and should all shields etc have the flir….. any comments of any sort are welcome…

Yes … more or less uniformed (mostly civic troops) – you could do worse than look at, say, link for inspiration …

Mine look a bit redder than Eddy's

Venturi's book (or website) is good for heraldry and uniforms … or just google important battles such as Campaldino or Montaperti …
