Gonna do campagin stuff. Gonna use hail caesar for pitched battles. Then the new lion rampart for small scale border fights and sieges. The campaign will be norway vs scotland and or norway vs sweden. So need small and big wooden forts. From small scale palasides. To more elaborate proper walls |

You might take a look some of the Zvezda stuff. Even though it's scaled for 1/72, I've used it with 28mm without too much of a problem. They have a Russian fortress and used to have a Roman camp (now discontinued) that are very useful. Plus you usually can find individual pieces for sale. Here's some links: link link |

Another good one would be the old Marx stockade that came in the "jungle" and "pirate" sets. Much shorter than their wild west stockade, and matches well with 28s. Try sites like Classic Toy Soldiers or Toy Solider Company. |

Wood dowels. Coffee stirrers. Sharp knives, saws, and a pencil sharpener. Toy blocks to give you straight edges to work from. It's kinda fun. |

Bamboo skewers (for cooking) are cheap, easy to find in the grocery store and have one end already sharpened |

The Zvezda Russian fort is great. I use mine for French and Indian war. |
