So Elhiem are pretty much 24mm miniatures, so closer to 1/72 than /76. I'm looking at different sets of German infantry, but have yet to decide what to buy. I'm setting up for gaming the Normandy period with paras vs. Panzer grenadiers. I could go the 21st Panzer/Ersatz route or just collect some StuGs, German halftracks and basic infantry for armored riflemen. Plastic soldier company has affordable Germans in 1/72, very close to the size of Elhiem figures. Then there's AB miniatures, whose size I do not yet know, but they're an option. I have to decide if I want to mix plastics with metal miniatures, but I'm still shopping around. Which Germans would be the best against Elhiem paratroopers? |
