I'm reading Haythornwaite's 'British Rifleman'
1797-1815  (Osprey Warrior, 2002).

The Shako Badge is illustrated but it's 'color' is not stated. It is drawn in/as a light silver color.

Is this the correct color?

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Regards,

J. P. Kelly

White metal (pewter) for the men and silver for the officers.
