Very nice !

Istanbul is one of my favorite cities, spent a few days there in May.

And YOU got to do miniature gaming there ! Color me jealous.

It is a nice city and I am glad I found a nice club to game in. A bit harder to get miniatures here.

Sounds like fun Konstantinos, and such a perfect setting.

Konstantinos,
Interesting….
I wonder if you could mail me the Russo-Turkish War scenario you played and let me test it with my rules to see how it plays out?
my email is: contact@grandmanoeuvre.co.uk

Best Regards,
Mike.

Michael

it really was simple so not much to email

We played across the Long edge of the table.

The Ottoman position was a simple redoubt with trenches running to its and left and right to the table edge.

The Ottoman forces were a veteran Nizam battalion, and two normal Nizam battalions plus two guns.

The Russians were two regiments of regular Russian infantry, each regiment of three battalions.

The Russians had the goal of taking the redoubt, while the Ottomans of holding it. The ground was clear for two thirds of the table, and had fields in the last third, away from the Ottoman positions and in first of he Russian starting points.
